Who I Am and My Music
My name is Estefan De La Cruz. I work as a biomedical engineer, directly engaging with advanced technology that helps save lives. In that work, I am constantly reminded that technology itself is a profound gift—great knowledge given to us by the Spirit of God. Like every gift from Him, it can be used for good or for evil. I have chosen to use it for good. In these last days, that decision carries even greater weight. The same advanced tools that shape modern medicine can also carry the Gospel farther and faster than ever before. That is why I created Distanthunder—an AI-powered band dedicated to proclaiming Jesus Christ with clarity and urgency. Together, as Estefan De La Cruz & The Distanthunder Band, we create what I call Tejano Harmony Gospel—a vibrant fusion of boy-band harmonies, country soul, Latin rhythms, and rock energy. Songs like “Starting Over,” “Broken Pieces,” and “Arrebataados en las Nubes” are Scripture set to melody. Every track is written to reach the lost, strengthen the weary, and declare the living hope of Jesus wherever people are listening. AI does not replace the anointing. It multiplies the message’s reach. While the world races toward the end of the age, Distanthunder exists to use every available tool to make Christ known. Mi nombre es Estefan De La Cruz. Mi primer idioma es el inglés y luego el español. Mi español no es el mejor, pero estoy trabajando en mejorarlo cada día.
