Wisdom shows the plan. Knowledge is the second part of understanding: facts and information about a person or environment–spiritual or practical–plus the skills to work it. It can familiarize you with a process, a piece of equipment, or someone you just met, and impart ability so the work can be done. Human knowledge from study alone cannot be applied to the spiritual realm. This gift can. Ask, “Holy Spirit, what is required of me? I am listening.” Then check your work. Do not invent information and call it a download. On the clock or at the kitchen table, Knowledge puts your hands to what Wisdom revealed. Faith, then Wisdom, then Knowledge, then the gift needed.

This is not the natural faith you were born with–the everyday trust that a plane will fly. Natural faith cannot operate in the spiritual realm or wake spiritual gifts. The Gift of Faith is first in the sequence. The Holy Spirit creates in you the authority and confidence that activate the others. Faith alone does not heal, prophesy, or work a miracle. It is not blind trust. It is knowing He has already checked the path, even when you are not in control. It may happen with no worship set and no glory cloud on the way to work. Quiet yourself. Ask if it is Him. If He says don’t move, don’t move. If He says go, go. Faith without works is dead. Believe and act.

Healing in this book means restore and make whole–body, mind, spirit, relationships, and, in this teaching, even land, water, and what human hands have built. Rapha: to heal. The gifts of healing cross from the spiritual realm into the natural. Medicine, time, and the body’s repair are real and God-given; they cannot cross into the spiritual realm. Wait for the Holy Spirit. Do not pick a fight He did not assign. Do not make a scene at work. Do not touch when it would confuse or compromise. Speak in their language, not church jargon. Go only as far as He and their faith will go. Sometimes you will feel warmth. Often you will feel nothing. Feelings are not the proof. Obedience is. In a clinic, office, or living room: ask for a window, pray, finish the work.

A miracle here is not luck and not a last-second sports play. It is the creative word of God–the breath that makes something exist that was not there. Desperation, compassion, and glorifying God may accompany a miracle; they do not define what a miracle is. You do not need a revival tent. The gift works in ordinary life: empty jars, not enough for the people in front of you, an instruction that looks impractical. Faith still goes first, then Wisdom, then Knowledge, then the Gift of Miracles. Use what is in the house. Obey. Involve what you have. At home or at work when the clock and the cupboard are both loud, do not wait for a special holy building. Be balanced while you watch Him work.

No. Do not chase mediums. This book teaches that familiar spirits rehearse what is already in motion and dress it up as foresight. That is deception, not the Holy Spirit. The Gift of Prophecy translates God’s language into the hearer’s language for strengthening, encouragement, and comfort. It can warn or prepare. You do not need a pulpit or a worship set. You need to be available. Speak the word the way it was given. Do not add a sentence to soothe your feelings. If you cannot control your volume, that is flesh, not fire. At a desk, in a carpool, or in a kitchen, prophecy is their vernacular–not stock tips, not fortune-telling. Available is enough. A platform is not required.

This gift distinguishes what is of God, what is human, and what is demonic–including hidden intent and the backstory. It is not suspicion, gossip, or “I just have a bad feeling” with no Holy Spirit. People are not your enemy. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. Use it in meetings, family conflict, and ordinary choices–not only at the altar. It helps you see who is driving the moment and whether to speak, wait, or walk away. Stay professional. Do not announce a spirit over the break room. Sequence still holds: Faith, Wisdom, Knowledge, then discerning. In the last days this is not optional. Put on the armor. Stay kind. Stay awake. Test what you discern.

Tongues in this teaching is a private language with the Holy Spirit. You utter mysteries to God. It edifies you. It is not a display for the open office. Jesus said to pray in secret. In the gathering, tongues without interpretation does not build the church. Some will say the gifts ceased. Do not argue. Live it with humility. Do not cast pearls where they will be trampled. On a commute, in a bedroom, or with earbuds in a study hall, keep it personal unless He orders it otherwise. Ask also to interpret, so your mind is not unfruitful. Faith, Wisdom, and Knowledge still wake as mysteries begin to be understood. Maturity is not quenching the Spirit. It is quenching the flesh.

Interpretation makes the unknown known–spoken or written–so you and others can understand. Pray with the spirit and with understanding. God’s language is not bound to vocal cords; interpretation lets your mind catch up. Do not force a meaning He did not impart. Four ways in this book. If you are born again, you have received the Holy Spirit–the first step. Some already have gifts and let them go dormant; they are not taken away. Stir them up. Second, divine revelation: God assigns a task and the gifts to do it. Third, laying on of hands and prophecy spoken over you–do not neglect what was imparted. Fourth, desire: ask, seek, knock, and do not quit. Practically: worship in secret, talk with God anywhere, take in Scripture for joy, walk with people who also want the gifts. This is not a label on you. It is a life of asking and obeying at work and at home. Fan the flame. Welcome home.
